Thoughts on art

One might asks himself if art is of any importance as it is objectively unnecessary. To those I can only say that the human kind is at a position where we are able to expand our mind beyond the jail of pure nature, we are able to think much more than pure survival, we have a mind that is able to recognize beauty. Art and culture is, in my opinion, a defining aspect of human life. Do not let your mind go to waste.

I believe that especially in our time, having something greater to hold onto, something bigger than life and death to think about is as beautifull as it gets.

Art in it self is subjective, whether you find liking to a specific niche or not is not anyone’s right to criticize. However everyone must have the ability to accept, that there is far more beyond our own mind. Things that you might find weird are a treasure for someone else. Learn to aknowledge your own and other opinions, do not condemn.

For myself and others, art has been a way to express ideas and feelings not fitting into the structure of a sentence, things we are not able to put into words.
